Hi, I don’t suppose anyone has tips for getting a deal on tickets for the family to Hershey Park? Or other advice for a trip there with little kids? It’ll be a 4yo, infant, mom and dad for like 3 days staying in Hershey. 2022 was a financially difficult year so looking to not break the bank here lol. Thanks in advance!!

Knoebels is also a much better option for small kids. I’ve taken my nieces to Hershey Park and Knoebels and it’s not even close.
Knoebels is free admission. You can either pay for tickets for kids to ride or buy an all day pass for the kids for like $15/piece. You will spend far less money and have far more fun. I prefer Knoebels to Hershey Park as an adult.
Edit: As someone else pointed out prices for kids ride all day passes have gone up since I took my nieces in 2021.

Uhh.. It's like $50 for adults and $35 for kids now.
Damn. The last time I took my nieces was May 2021 and they were super cheap.
My Son went to the school. We got in for free, whenever we wanted. I was sooooo tired of Hershey Park after 4 years, lol, but it's hard to think it costs 50.00 a day now, crazy! It's almost like everything gets more expensive over time ... Hmmm.
I goto Knoebels 2 or three times a week and just sit, and people watch. I live literally minutes away and come and go. I also had season passes to Herswhen I lived in Palmyra. I'm never going to spend that amount of stupid money again
My ex wife and I would get the season passes with the dining pass for Six Flags….for just the two of us it was close to $500….and that’s not factoring gas/tolls to get there either

Yes!! Iirc they also make it easier to bring your own food, which helps tremendously with costs.

Ittta! We went there a couple of times with our younger kids. Hershey is better for bigger (taller) kids as most rides there have a height requirement.
That was a 1 and done with each of my kids. They loved it but never really liked going back after the first or second Time.

Hershey Park is geared towards kids older than that. Personally, Knoebels is much more for small kids and families. Free admission so you don't waste a $65 ticket on little ones only riding a few rides. Individual ride tickets can be purchased at a discount at Weis. Knoebels also has a veteran discount once a year, you get a free book of tickets.
Agreed that Knoebels will get you more for your buck. It's also dog friendly, if that's a plus for you. I believe Weis also has discounted tickets for DelGrosso amusement park and water park in Tipton (north of Altoona), although I'm unsure if that's good for younger kids. If none of this is helpful, my bad!
Weis also sells discounted knoebels tickets too! And no waiting in the line on the day with the family.
Find someone on the Hersheypark subreddit. I had season passes last year and they can have up to 20 discounted tickets you can purchase. I don’t have one this year otherwise I would offer but some people are pretty nice on r/Hersheypark.

My fiancée just let me know the fb group Hershey Park Season Pass Holders (there are a few and they each have this according to her) they have pinned posts in the group that are for giving away the extra tickets to others. People are always giving them away and if someone posts in search of they are quick to jump on and help hook them up with someone giving some away. Check it out!

Giant used to sell Hersheypark tickets that were like $10 off. Not sure if they still do that. Also not sure if it’s all locations, or just the ones in Hershey
Turkey Hill gas station also provides “discounted”tickets. If memory serves, when you buy a Hershey park ticket through the park, it’s the evening before the day pass and the day pass so 1.5 days and not strictly a single day. The TH and Giant tickets are discounted because they are strictly a single day ticket.
I got a mega deal one summer by purchasing an absurd quantity of Pure Leaf iced tea. Not sure if they've ever done it again.
For those ages, go to kneobels. Don't waste money on a park you have to pay admission for.

How close are you? They have Hershey park nights at the Hershey Bears. If you go to the game you get a free ticket

Giant Food Stores sell tickets at customer service and they’re usually discounted, that’s what I usually do. Also recommend the meal pass if you can swing that, so everyone can eat and drink

I don't think there's any deals going on right now. Usually in the fall of the year prior they sell season passes for cheaper than usual. Idk about 3-day tickets though.
If you’d get the king size pass, you get 2 free park tickets and it includes parking.

I used to live minutes from Hershey with season tickets. I was paying $$$ just to literally sit there. Why was I that stupid? It really gets old after a while
I would go to Dutch Wonderland or Knobles instead. Hersheypark has some kid's rides but the last time we were there the rides were more for kids a little older. If you were a friend coming into town we would take you to one of those two.
Go to Dorney or Knobels if you want something extremely affordable unfortunately Hershey is super expensive for a family coming from a season pass holder

With living within 5 mins of Hershey Park, you don't. Go to Knoebels or Dutch Wonderland. Much better!!
