If you live close enough to the jurisdiction in NJ, you may want to go to court and try to get the fine reduced. Years ago, I used to drive for my job and used to wrack up points. A cop friend told me to go to court and ask to plea bargain. Usually I got 4-5 points reduced to 2. This was in NJ as well. Don't know if it is still the same, but that fine could be a whopper as is.
