West Chester has a nice, walkable downtown area. Lots of shops and restaurants.

You could visit Baldwins Book Barn which is a cool old barn where they sell old books. There is a helicopter museum outside town next to QVC studios.
Longwood Gardens is close by and is amazing. The Brandywine River Museum is a nearby art museum as well. There are also multiple parks and nature areas if you like the outdoors.

I think someone else also mentioned the helicopter museum, but it's not showing up in the comments. We'll probably try to get over there.
I'll look up the other places you mentioned. The bookstore might be a good idea, but we'll see what everyone wants to do.
iFly in King of Prussia
That's on the menu for another trip up.
West Chester you go in High and leave Gay. Sounds pretty fun to me!
There are tons of parks in and outside of the WC area. Ridley Creek and Okehocking Preserve are a few good ones.
Came to West Chester with my sister and nephew. We ended up just walking around and shopping and grabbing some snacks. Highlight was whoever left a note on my sister's van for being parked in a handicap spot. The plates are handicap plates.
Not quite in West Chester but Treehouse world could be fun if you don’t mind weather/cold. Oasis fun center in Glen Mills has a VR coop arcade game and other stuff young teens would enjoy
longwood gardens or if you’re interested in traveling a couple minutes towards the exton area, barnes & noble is always fun! i love just looking at books and browsing.
also in west chester, i’ve heard wonderful things about dia doce!
Hey, here in WC we love our youthful appearance, but don’t let that distract you from our…passion. For you, I’d recommend an activity that grabs you by the legs and shakes you, before laying you down and enhancing.
I’d suggest…..binge drinking.
I second Longwood gardens. It’s such a nice way to spend 2-4 hours. Also with the weather recently it’s perfect
