Oh I love backyard beans, they sell their coffee beans at some local Whole Foods. Had no clue they have a brick and mortar store!

Wake just opened a Pizza/Cafe concept in Flourtown called Bake, combining with Tommy Ds in the old Bella Maria location off Bethlehem Pike. Looks like it’ll have a good atmosphere for studying.

God forbid someone confirm the excellence of this place with a tongue-in-cheek internet comment

Yeah, I dunno about that. Little gatekeepery to throw at me before I've had an acceptable amount of coffee on a Monday.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm sure we've sat next to each other many times. Apologies for the miscommunication. I love WHC and Jenkintown. I hope everyone in the Delaware Valley gets to experience it and they never go out of business.

WunkyFinkerbean t1_jc1xkib wrote

That's the plan. I've been around long enough to see too many nice places here wither and die because they were secrets too well kept.

We need to pump the numbers on Human Robot. I want them to succeed for purely selfish reasons regarding their Czech lagers.

This is a place I want to visit.

Come to Jenkintown!

Tuesday nights in the summer are good. Grab an early dinner at Newbolds, visit the Night Market at the Town Square (where you can usually grab some beers from Human Robot) and hang out for a local band to play on the square.

I love that place. I see they opened a dine in option. Looking forward to trying it. Their Detroit style pizza is amazing. Coffee is good too!

Ebru in Audubon. It’s an old auto mechanics shop that’s been converted to a coffee shop.

I really like Johnson Hall in Hulmeville. Nice place to sit and grade papers on a rainy Sunday.

It’s a lovely one. The folks working are really nice, too. They always remember my kiddos name and ask for her.

Mama Hawk's, Peddler's Village! Good amount of seating, fireplace during the colder months, outside patio seating for warmer months. It can get a little busy on the weekends, but I've worked there before when my power/internet was out and had a pretty good experience.

This was nice! Thanks! Did this used to be a Saxby’s? I have vague memories of being in here before but I swear it was a Saxby’s back then

Steel City in Phoenixville - Historic district part of town. Outdoor seating, indoor seating. Also now brewery but night time is a music venue.

The Skippack Village Italian Deli has (or had before covid, not sure now) nice space and coffee... Also Perky Joe's on Sumneytown Pike is a nice spot with good coffee and seating/study space.
