The now mostly-defunct Pathmark chain briefly had a Central Pennsylvania presence. This 1987 screengrab from a Harrisburg Patriot-News/PennLive video shows the Pathmark location in Lower Paxton Township. This location closed sometime in the early 90s. My husband and I had a Chevette in the 1980s. It was like the cheapest Chevette. We called it the comrade model. It had a glove compartment with no door. And there was no vinyl padding on tje insides of the doors, just metal. And I don’t think there was any carpet on the floor, I think that was metal too.
