Seems to vary. I got mine relatively quickly, however, I kind of screwed myself for mailing it in. I didn't read the instructions like a doofus and didn't use the secondary envelope they give you and now I have to drop it off in person since I ruined the envelope you mail it in.

Mine took awhile too. You can check the status online but sounds like you did that already. Keep checking!

Thank you for the response. I want to get it filled out quick so that I can put it in the mail before the end of the month. I lost a package through USPS and I ordered a new credit card that never came. Mail hasn't been the best lately. Thanks again!

Still haven't gotten mine in Philly either.

EDIT: it was there when I got home from work. Blue time.

Live in Carlisle. Was lucky my ballot arrived in a reasonable time. I filled it in and took it to the dropbox. Since then our letter mail simply stopped. Apparently parcels are delivered separately as we still get those. The local po said our carrier was out sick. So the mail just stops. We were told to put our names on a list (with our neighbors) to have our mail sorted so we could pick it up at the po. Good luck.

Ditto, and ditto.

Glad it arrived when it did because actual mail is hit or miss most weeks

I was notified last Tuesday and had my ballot on Friday. If it's been over a week contact your local election office. I ended up never getting mine despite it saying it was mailed in the 2020 general election so I had to go cast a provisional ballot at my polling place.

Last fall my ballot arrived the day after the election, more than 4 weeks after it was sent (according to the date on the website, though I question if that was the actual date they sent it). This time my ballot took two weeks to arrive if you go by the date on the website. I sent it back today.

It didn't take long for me. I requested it last Tuesday. They shipped it Wednesday and I had it on Friday.

Being that this is a very important election, maybe the most important race in the Senate, I would recommend voting in person if at all possible.

Am I allowed to even though I requested a mail in ballot? As long as I don’t send in the mail in ballot it should be fine.

Hopefully yours comes soon and you can get it completed, but from what I've read you can walk in and they will let you use a provisional ballot. Anyhow you do have that as a backup if needed.

If you have your mail-in ballot but want to vote in person, you can turn in your ballot/return envelope at the polling station. Then you can vote with a normal ballot rather than provisional.

I don't have all this grief and aggravation waiting for things to come in the mail and hoping they go in time...... I just go and vote in person and then I know my vote counts for sure

Until the day you’re not able to make it to the polls on Election Day. Voting early ensures you have time to vote.

Illustrious_Air_1438 t1_isqmsvu wrote

By the way, if you don't get your ballot but you can't make it to the polls on election day, there's another option, which is going to the county board of elections and casting a ballot in person. It's essentially in-person early voting.

That is what absentee Is ballots are for

I’m talking about unforeseen circumstances. I don’t mean a planned absence.

I have never run into that situation myself. But I suppose it depends on the gravity of the situation and the value you put on your right to vote. I would have to be half dead unconscious and in a hospital Before I would give up my right to vote. I plan to be at the Polls Ahead of time And that becomes my priority. What exactly do you consider a reason to not vote at the polls??
