Why do they want to teach this to 6 year Olds so badly? Very strange.

In the judge's opinion, it said that the teacher was the mother of a transgender child who was also in the first grade that year (although it sounds like at a different school). It's quite likely that her own motherly experience was the overriding factor in choosing to instruct other first-graders about people like her child.

Keep in mind the source posted is Fox News. There's gonna be some jumps and exaggerations made compared to whatever is really going on. I highly doubt there's school approved curriculum on the topic at that age. Could be a case of a teacher going into business for herself.

There are 6 year olds who for about 3 or 4 years have desperately wished they were born as a different gender.

My niece’s child (now 14) has a penis but has chosen a feminie name and has worn pink since being old enough to choose clothes and carried Elsa everywhere and got angry when people gave trucks as presents.

The teacher may have only been trying to reduce prejudice and prevent ridicule against such a child, not to convert anyone. Just teaching acceptance and open mind if a student doesn’t fit the binary norm.

Why do people use the word teaching about this topic - it wasn’t like she would have been teaching them to be trans. I think it’s most likely She’s just teaching them not to be mean. Why jump to the conclusion the teacher was trying to convert? That’s the weird part.

No one on this sub has ever known a transgender person.

If they had, they would actually understand that people are born knowing that they are TG.
