Can I opt out of Keystone exams? Keystone Exams are giving me anxiety.

So keystone exams are coming up in less then a week and I’m wondering if there’s a way I can opt out of them and what are the requirements. I’m not sure if it varies from area to area or not. The anxiety of it makes me feel sick constantly, it keeps me awake for at least an hour every night I really just want to opt out of them. Please let me know.

Graduation requirement in PA, you’ll be fine. You just have to pass and if you don’t, just retake them. They’re a breeze and mainly just a way of the state gov to ensure that schools are teaching their students, colleges do not see these if that’s what scares you

By law your parents can opt you out.

Title 22 Chapter 4, section 4.4 (d)(4)

School entities shall adopt policies to assure that parents or guardians have the following: ..

(4) The right to review a State assessment in the school entity during convenient hours for parents and guardians, at least 2 weeks prior to their administration, to determine whether a State assessment conflicts with their religious belief. To protect the validity and integrity of the State assessments, each school entity shall have in place procedures to be followed when parents or guardians request to view any State assessment. Procedures must be consistent with guidance provided by the Department in its assessment administration instructions. If upon inspection of a State assessment parents or guardians find the assessment to be in conflict with their religious belief and wish their students to be excused from the assessment, the right of the parents or guardians will not be denied upon written request that states the objection to the applicable school district superintendent, charter school chief executive officer or AVTS director.

Just do it. It doesn’t reflect on you, it reflects on the administrators’ job approval, real estate salespeoples’ housing prices, and tax rates.
