He's hated on this sub, but Toomey was/is a strong proponent of term limits, and was true to his word. I believe he's been partnered up with Ed Rendell to propose a convention of states term limit ammendment.

Either way, congrats to Fetterman, I (a genx'r) wish him well.

It's the one thing I do agree with him on. People who won't be around to see the consequences of their actions shouldn't be in charge.

Toomey overall WAS a bad guy....but there are some good parts to his legacy. Animal protection laws and his very strong stance on term limits among them.

He wasn’t a bad guy at least he voted to impeach the Tangerine 🍊 Traitor. Did y’all notice the amount of retirements this term?

F Trump and all he stands for.

I just hope gen x gen z, & millennials keep voting and that they get all their friends to vote.

I, in my mid-60's, thank you "younger people" for trying to change the political landscape. Make it better, please.

Yes. I’m late 60s too. So glad young people are connected and trying to make things better. Our generation seems intent on ruining America. Hard to believe the Peace, Love and Age of Aquarius generation could end up so far from its purported roots.

Right! I've cut ties with a lot of our long-time friends who are 60's-to-early-70's because I just don't understand who the hell they are any more. And it's no use reasoning, once they support the "tRump was the greatest president of my time" and "the 2020 election was absolutely stolen" beliefs, there's no turning back...

Pennsylvania just elected a GenX governor, so not sure what are you talking about.

That’s my point. Voting within gen x through gen z age ranges. Yes they voted for someone in their gen. Not older

Isn't that more relevant in primaries?

OK - but as a formerly GOP registered voter who switched to Independent after Trump... ya lost me. I have no primary vote.

I had 2 choices to vote for last night. Age had nothing at all to do with my vote. But whatever with all the downvotes

Serious question asked out of good faith. Why are you a registered as an independent in a state with closed primaries?
