Stunning. When my wife and I were in Hawaii we did a “star tour” took us to the top of this mountain where the observatories are. When you look over the wooden rails in the parking lot you’re looking at the top of the clouds. As the sun drops it’s an incredible palette of yellows to purples and then you see the stars. What an absolutely incredible sight with no clouds or bright lights.

Once your eyes get adjusted to the dark on a clear night, yes.
