Hi All,

After 10 years of straight work, Unemployment still hasn't come through after almost a month.

I cannot get to anyone at all to help resolve this as there are 2 open issues - missing wages and last day worked...

It might just be an issue of 4 hours that my company paid me for that i didn't claim. but i cant resolve any of this as there is 0 person to talk to or that seems to be able to help.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

i only ever got help from unemployment, by calling my local PA CareerLink office, getting through to them (way easier than to unemployment, but still not easy, just not impossible) and then they literally put your name/number on a list (a google doc, i've gathered, it sounds like) that the people at unemployment pick from/work from and no joke, like 3 days later (2 different times, a year plus apart during the pandemic) someone will call you back from unemployment and answer your questions/issues/fix your shit.

good luck. it's one of the more frustrating exercises i've endured over my years.

Contact your local state House rep. tomorrow by phone. They should help you.

This is the answer. My husband did not receive one payment for the first three months, no way to get in touch with anyone. He went to the rep's office and had a phone call by the end of the day and payment for all three months in like 24 hours.

Ive filed a ticket in the past. It took 3 months for them to call me about it but was resolved before they reached out. My best advice is to continue to file your weekly benefits as you WILL be backpaid from all eligible weeks. The new system is complete shit

Reach out to Lisa Haldy. She works for the government and has helped me and many others get through.

Her email is available if you Google her

Lisa works for Scott Martin, a State Senator for Southern Lancaster County. You’re going to want to contact your state senator’s local office (not Harrisburg). If you don’t know who that is, you can search by your address here: https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/home/findyourlegislator/index.cfm?mobile_choice=suppress

You can still reach out to her. I know other people (not in her area) who have been helped by her. FWIW

Can you point me to where I can find her email address? I googled her name in various ways ("lisa haldy", "lisa haldy contact", "lisa haldy Pennsylvania", but am not finding her email.

I used PA unemployment for when I broke my foot. They never got back to me of missing a month worth of wages. My job later gave me worker compensation, but after a month of not receiving any pay. It happened during covid so never had a chance in hell getting paid.
