This looks like it was at/by Susquhannock SP? There are a lot of great birds of prey that like floating on the air in that area.

Last time I saw a bald eagle, it was eating a dead raccoon in the middle of a road. A sign indeed.

If their louses have parasites, they're called hyperparasites. There's a special word for it!

We have a nest across the river from us . We see them every day just about. There is a stretch of road that runs along the river but about 40 or 50 ft over the river. They come down and fly along side the car no more then 20 ft away so pretty!!! and every time we get the camera ready they dive out of view.

Bald eagles are all over the Conowingo Dam. Especially when they open some of the gates.
