So, second highest gas prices in county, second highest property taxes, extreme beurocracy, and lowest wages. Gee. I wonder why people/ businesses don’t want to stay or move here.

What are we getting for all this money? No, seriously. NY, CA costs with OH WV quality of life. Not going to cut it.

I remember when I got my first Job at 15 at a brand new Wegman's coming to the area. It was RIGHT before the minimum wage went up from $6.25 to $7.15... in 2007. When it happened, I was really excited!

Because I was 15...

The real kicker is that Wegman's was supposed to be like a "luxury" grocery store. I left Wegman's for Walmart 8 months later and got a $2.50 an hour increase at Walmart for the same cashier role.

You know it's funny I used to think that Giant Eagle was cheaper until I started going to Wegmans...I wish I would have gone there sooner.

Giant Eagle around here *IN ERIE* is more expensive than I used to pay when I lived in NYC.
