Ugly, ugly flag. Looks like a 3rd grader came up with that. At least they stayed within the lines. Ugh lee.

Yeah, that’s my only issue with it.

Still like it better than the current flag though.

a third grader did come up with it if you read the story in the link. they were inspired by a child's homework assignment.

Even if this were true, what would be wrong with that? Alaska’s flag was designed by a teenager, and decades later it’s still one of the most beloved US state flags.

(For anyone who cares, the kid was barely born when I was putting the design together in 2017 - I received that homework photo from a friend and supporter about 2 months ago. That said, this is the funniest misreading of a situation I’ve seen in a while, and I appreciate you for that 😂)
