Don't have my physical cards here yet but I do have my debit card on my phone. Wonder if they take apple pay to pay in there.

Meant to say I lost wallet on the train and I’m trying to get everything back that I had on my wallet. I’m veryyyyyy tired.

They do not accept it.

Nah, I'm better off either waiting for my debit card to be mailed to me or paying for my dl card online and having that mailed to me. Bank is too far from me but PennDot isn't. Guess I just have to wait.

PennDot online services allows you to print a copy of your license renewal (or duplicate copy of your DL) so you have proof of a DL until the camera card comes in the mail. The online service can also email you a copy if you don’t have a printer at home. If you get pulled over or need proof of you DL, you can show the printed or emailed electronic copy. Good luck! Sorry about the lost wallet…

I don’t actually see anything at that link that indicates one way or the other. Apple Pay isn’t a distinct payment method but is just a way to present a credit or debit card. The vast majority of payment terminals in the US accept industry-standard contactless payments.

Fyi, today is Christmas observed so the bank, DMV, etc. are probably all closed.

My experience is that PEN DOT licensing centers only take checks. If you have a local non state licensing facility like an insurance title and tags agent they may take credit debit Apple pay... I'd call...

I’m taking a bus there later, they have no customer service number so it’s all automated. I won’t know until I’m there physically. Just didn’t want to go all the way over there and end up wasting my time. I just hopeeeeeee they do accept it when I get there.

They exclusively require cash backed by the gold standard and accept checks under rare circumstances. Any form of payment attempted to be used after the invention of electricity will require stoning or burning at the stake.
