That’s really interesting. A lot of people are calling out that he looks older than 28, but if he had dramatic weight loss that could be responsible for making his face appear more wrinkled/older than a typical 28 year old’s.

Stupidpieceofshit77 t1_j2a31h9 wrote

Some articles are saying he was arrested in Scranton. The one says Chestnuthill township, which makes sense since it's in Monroe County. I can't believe he was found here of all places.

KoBxElucidator t1_j2a37g8 wrote

Yes, but I didn't see it personally as I didn't have many friends then either (hence why I hung out with him xD). I do know people who graduated with us saying on FB that he was HEAVILY bullied before losing the weight.

I'm from Moscow (the town where the murders took place) and it's kind of weird knowing when I was out doordashing that evening, he was probably getting ready to kill people near where I was from

haha yeah ofc. i mean last i heard they’re saying “person of interest” so he hasn’t even been named a suspect yet, what im saying is if it’s obvious he did it, i don’t want to pay to house and feed him for 3 lifetimes, just shoot him in the head.

He is from the West End area of Monroe County. He graduated (4 years below me and worked security at the HS after he graduated) from Pleasant Valley High School. Reports say he was studying for his PhD in Criminology from a college less than 10 miles away from the University of Idaho.

Kind of a dick but respectable. Everytime he failed to clean up the bathroom or dishes id threaten to call the police and it shook him to his core. Paid on time and was quiet. Would rent a room to him again.

Yeah basically. Whenever a roommate thought I was their mother who cleans stuff up for you because I love you quickly got a call to the authorities. They don't do anything but the threat of allowing police to enter the apartment because of our domestic abuse is enough to scare him to fix up his space. He had already paid me to shop for him and whatnot which waz weirdtl but hey i made an eztea $200 a month. His crypto wallet was full due to the couple of rug pulls he assisted with some popular twitch streamers to have enough spending cash to get around.

For legal reasons this is a joke.

I've been home all day and didn't even find out until this afternoon. They must have been very quiet about the whole thing. I remember hearing helicopters flying around this morning and thinking it was odd. It took awhile before they announced which specific neighborhood they found him in. Strangely inside the neighborhood is very calm and the house in question is sitting empty. It's a gated neighborhood so the commotion is all outside the gate.

LinIsStrong t1_j2bspkb wrote

Ditto, I went to U Idaho there - pea and lentil capital of the world! - and lived in apartments not far from where the murders occurred. Then the guy ends up in PA not that far from where I live now. The whole thing is just too horrible. My heart goes out to the families.

Unique-Public-8594 t1_j2c01fd wrote

I’m still sad for the deceased and their grieving families. Horrible to imagine the trauma that occurred.

Thankful that the police were able to identify and locate a suspect.

I can’t help it… it’s None of my business but I also wonder things like, did his family know he was capable of this? Did they sense something was terribly amiss? How did they deal with it? Did they fear for their own lives? Were they shocked? Did they get him in treatment? What did the therapist think? Did they think he did it when the murders were first reported in the news? Did they call the tip line? How in the world are they coping now (the parents and siblings)? What was family life like in this home? Was he someone who harmed animals? Is there more mental illness in this family? Was he gradually escalating? Did they feel it escalating? Did he love them? Was he incapable of love? What’s the whole story that led up to this?

greenshirt21 t1_j2c12nn wrote

Are u delusional? His car was near the crime scene, he was found hiding in Pennsylvania when he was supposed to be in school in Idaho, and how can they fake dna at the crime scene? Plus you add the fact he was a criminology student?

Mor_Tearach t1_j2c2n0v wrote

Someone else who he was in a friend group with said he flipped fairly swiftly, still in high school and became a bully himself so they distanced themselves.

Also this guy wanted to be a COP. Has a degree in criminal justice from ( I think ) LaSalle ) getting a doc in it at Washington.

A_Generic_White_Guy t1_j2c2nsc wrote

Yes, it can. Depending on where they got the DNA, it could very well be the left over of a party.

Until more information comes out and there is a trail anything you say is hearsay and based on rumors. Especially with high profile cases.

Remember. Innocent before proven guilty.

McCooms t1_j2c3wxr wrote

Yeah, but they’re from Idaho and they’re saying it’s the PNW. In addition to the internet. Not sure why all of that is trumped by you living in Oregon for however long.

4

CraWLee t1_j2c76f1 wrote

You are like talking to a brick wall. Here's another example to clarify what I'm saying. People that live in new Jersey across the river from Philly, say they're from Philly. They're not, but that's what they say then you find where they actually live and you explain to them that they live in Jersey, not Philly. This conversation is done, you have no life experience to dwell on and only have Google for references, you're essentially a bot.

−1

CraWLee t1_j2c8oxr wrote

Hey logic! Do not take my statement as an assault, but "inland" nw is made up, it's more like outskirts West by mid-west. Jackson hole(which is mid west) is like 20 miles from the Idaho/Wyoming boarder. Idaho is irrefutably midwest. I'll contest to Northern Idaho as eastern pnw, but that's like calling something inland 😆

−3

kellzone t1_j2c9c1v wrote

Wait, you're threatening roommates with a call to the police alleging domestic abuse on their part toward you, because they don't clean up? Holy shit, you're a terrible human being.

Are you one of those people who won’t change their mind even when evidence and anecdote tell you you’re wrong? If you don’t think so you may want to reflect on it a little longer if after the below you still think you’re right.

Go to Wikipedia to check for yourself, but I’ve saved you the trouble. While there is not a consensus on which of the three options below is true “PNW” all include Idaho.

“The map below shows three possibilities: (1) The shaded area shows the historical Oregon Country. (2) The green line shows the Cascadia bioregion.[6] (3) The labeled states and provinces include Washington, Idaho, Oregon and British Columbia.”

Pacific North West

ElonMuskTheNarcisist t1_j2cda60 wrote

It’s possible he was romantic with one of the girls and was at the house earlier that day. Also possible he was in PA because most schools went remote in that area after the murders. I doubt the police made a mistake though. I would definitely bet on him being the killer.

CraWLee t1_j2cg567 wrote

Like I said I've lived in the PNW and have been to Idaho and lived in shortly. My statement is but perspective, but if you've ever been to either you'd understand wth I'm talking about.

One last key factor, Idaho does not touch the Pacific ocean, so how could it be classified pnw.

−1

McCooms t1_j2cgube wrote

I’ve been to both, with friends living in Bend and Eugene who I’ve visited several times. Drove from Seattle to the Olympic peninsula along the Juan de Fuca straight from Port Angeles. Went down to second beach and La Push and went through the rain forest. Took the train south from Seattle to Portland. Drove from Eugene to Boise. Didn’t spend a ton of time in Boise but overall I agree it didn’t add up as being the Pacific Northwest. However, I was not in Northern Idaho, where the poster above says it is culturally closer to PNW. Given that everything on the internet agrees with them, I’m going with them.

Does that cover all of our bases?

2

CraWLee t1_j2ch6g1 wrote

And you've been to Idaho? 😂 I hear what you're saying, I'm just stating that the title of pnw has no business including Idaho. Apparently Alaska is apart of the pnw too, I beg to differ on that one as well.

1

CraWLee t1_j2chjxz wrote

😂 definitely 👏. Northern Idaho should for sure be dubbed it's own state, it's totally different than the rest of ID. Culturally wise, it's more like Utah though to add to the argument 😅

1

CraWLee t1_j2ci9hu wrote

So you don't agree that Idaho is a completely different geographical dynamic than the rest of the pnw? Again, it's not even attached to the Pacific in anyway shape or form.

1

CraWLee t1_j2cmwyh wrote

Sure I don't. Your statement has made me see the truth. How could I ever have a difference of opinion from actual life experience and perspective, I pray thee forgive me, I know nothing about anything and then some. Thank you so much for your clarity. I bow to you for your insight be so fruitful.

greenshirt21 t1_j2cqtvi wrote

There are so many factors that point to this guy. And probably much more that we don’t even know about. I trust law enforcement in this case. Four people were stabbed to death, there is much evidence against this person, it’s weird you are making a huge point to defend him

−3

A_Generic_White_Guy t1_j2crg5s wrote

Im not defending him I'm saying wait until trail tf lmao.

Everyone's out here acting like internet sleuths and that shit can be detrimental to a person's image. They've already done it once with this case, with the "hooded guy".

Let the judicial system handle the case before being bickering nancies. Then you can talk shit.

4

A_Generic_White_Guy t1_j2cxq14 wrote

>Someone was arrested for a heinous murder with much evidence pointing to him

The point is that that evidence hasn't been disclosed.

What do you know? He drives an white Elantra ? And DNA evidence exists?

Do you know the specifics of the DNA evidence?

You're not the judge, leave it to the judicial system. Even the most sinister of criminals deserves due process.

Wait until the official press conference and verdict before jumping to conclusions. You don't know all the details of the case.

1

greenshirt21 t1_j2cy7ku wrote

That is just plain naive and stupid to think that on Reddit of all places people wouldn’t comment on the suspected killer. Especially when the evidence given to the public is pretty strong. If that’s just what they give the public, just imagine what they aren’t telling us. They arrested him for a reason. But go ahead and keep defending murderers

−1

A_Generic_White_Guy t1_j2cyjra wrote

YOU KEEP SAYING STRONG EVIDENCE.

But you can't explain the evidence. So until it's explained allow due process. All you've been saying is "there's evidence!" Yet you cannot explain that evidence. So wait until the evidence is explained before trash talking a random individual.

No I'm defending a person's right to innocent until proven guilty. You know, one of the core reasons our society is founded on. Just because you feel someone is guilty based on evidence gathered second hand through word of mouth and conspiracy theories. Doesn't mean that he is, until he's tried in court.

Is he likely the killer? Maybe. But until all the informations out all you're doing is saying conspiracy theorys .
