She can Uber to Bedford and see a few things and eat at the Jean Bonnet Tavern. Other than that. That area is empty

That’s absolutely what I would do:

Find a way to get out of Breezewood just for entertainment sake. Go back for the car later.

I’m 20ish minutes away. Wish I could help without having to worry about Stranger Danger…

Same! But a man offering help to a random woman on the internet is not smiled upon haha. I’m in Everett, where are you?

Everett? Nice.
I’m in the humble town of McConnellsburg.

This is the best suggestion. There’s more to do in Bedford. If truly stuck in Breezewood I’d personally stay at the holiday inn. They have a pool and a little gym so could get some exercise. Could walk to Bob Evans from there . Is there still a shady dive bar on Breezewood Rd? Could go there for Christmas Eve drinks .

The wildwood? Assuming they are still open (not sure, it's not the sort of place I would go) that's still a hell of a walk in like 7 degrees. Better plan: Walk to the Sheetz and get a six of an acceptable Adult Beverage and go back to your hotel room to drink it.

I suggested this up above somewhere - there's a newish Asian fusion place called Nudl that has amazing food. Or if she could afford to stay a couple nights at Bedford Springs resort, that would make for a decent time.

In Bedford, the 10/09 does solid food as well.

Yes!! People underestimate the Bedford food scene. They’ve got much better restaurants than where I am (Altoona—sadly). It’s a shame I’m surrounded by every chain establishment imaginable but have very few independent places.

Doubt much will be open. Weather has had places closing early and Bedford rolls up early anyway.

It's worth the splurge if you ever get the opportunity to have money to burn. My wife and I went for New Years one year, best $900 we've ever spent on one night.
