That's not the reason I was given. Everyone just told me it was in the dress code because Hardy wanted it to be like the military.

Friend of mine applied for a job for one of Hardy's other business ventures, and the morning start time was ridiculous and inflexible. Recruiter told him it's because that's what Joe did in the service and he kept the routine.

Yeah our shifts were 7-5. Not terrible but there was no time left for anything else when I had an hour commute. The guys who had it worst were the comanagers. If a delivery was running late they'd be stuck waiting for the truck to get back, and they had to punch out. They worked every Saturday too and had almost no holidays besides Xmas day and Thanksgiving.
