Checked there too! Hanover Twnship, these locality government websites are horrific

Just looked and yes that may be the worst website.

I found one mention that excludes chickens from any domestic pet regulation and lumps them together with other farm animals. Beyond that just call and ask.

If you can’t find it on the website call the township and ask the zoning officer. They will be happy to answer your questions.
