County won’t have ordinances pertaining to livestock. Look at the ordinances for the local municipality (i.e. township/borough) where the house is.

I found one mention that excludes chickens from any domestic pet regulation and lumps them together with other farm animals. Beyond that just call and ask.

If you can’t find it on the website call the township and ask the zoning officer. They will be happy to answer your questions.

Just call Hanover Twp Municipal and ask. It is very common in most of PA that chickens are allowable however you would probably need more than 10 acres to have goats.

Did call, the front desk clerk didn’t know but Supervisor got back to me, you are correct, chickens are good but we have 1 acre so no goats.
