I agree with you about 99 being pretty, but also as a longtime State College resident it’s known as an accident-laden, chaotic traffic hell hole.

I like that stretch of 99, and also Rt 15/I 99 between Williamsport and Mansfield is pretty awesome (near my hometown Wellsboro). Also for a non-highway road, 287 from Wellsboro to Jersey Shore is dope.
