Creeped your profile. Recommend you hit up Freeplay Barcade. (You don't have to drink). Also hit up the local game shops. They do pokemon and stuff and one is super close to Smug Brewery (if you do drink)

There can be TONS to do just as easily as there can be nothing. It depends on your interests, prespective, and motivation.

I had friends who came out during the winter to see if they could like it as much as they did during a summer visit for a possible move.

In five days we: Had some bomb food at India Restaurant, followed up by some amazing drinks at Clementine, followed by some loud and bad singing at Boombox followed by a late night session of party video games at home.

Next day we drove to Gillette Castle in CT, hiked around, ferried across a river, hit up some some food and a brewery, drove down to Mystic, tried Julia Roberts pizza (because our friend had just watched the movie) went to the aquarium and village then hit up Foxwoods for some dinner and dancing.

Next day we drove down to Newport and hit up Ragged Island, tried to crash Rail Explorers (closed for the day or season but no worries) went to the car musuem, headed to the cliff walks but said F that because the wind was too chilly so stopped in for a fucking cheeseboard at Bellvue boards. Went home cause we were gassed from the day before and made dinner and played board games and caught up.

Next day was a late start, we cooked some breakfast, walked arounds roger williams park with our doggos, hit up providence and gave them a tour and capped off the night with some dinner at Sartos and then mother f'n Annie at PPAC.

Final day, walked down the east bay bike bath with doggos to some tasty borealis coffee, took them to olnyville for hot weiners and coffee milk, went to RISD musuem for free. Went to bayberry beer hall for early dinner and then panicked when they told us their flights home were out of BOS and not PVD like their arrival so we lickity split up to Logan. We got them there just in time and had a blast.

The weather was wild between 20-57 and we had a blast. They said they definitely wanted to move and we'll see in the coming months if that's true or if they just lied to us to make us feel better.

You can find shit to do, you just have to go looking for it.

The freaks in the Rhode Island General Assembly are very entertaining. It's reminiscent of the "freak shows" in late 19th and early 20th Century carnivals.
