I was at California Taco picking up my order. I was not in the view of any cameras unfortunately. I asked the pizza shop and the liquor store.
Did they break in or did you leave it running?
I think you know the answer to that. :D
There are very few places I’ll leave my car running, I can’t afford to replace it if insurance refuses a claim like this. It’s an expensive lesson.
I still leave mine running. I just make sure I hit the fob and lock it when I'm not in it.
Ah ok sorry. I'll keep my eye out for it.
Who steals an 18 year old three series? Sorry man.
I mean people who are stealing cars probably just go for the easiest one they see… and also one less likely to have any type of nav / tracking ?
This is why I don't think I'm seeing that car again. The person was either really smart or really dumb and I'm leaning towards the former. That car is probably in 100 pieces already.
It sounds like you left it running on the street, a lesson for next time.
Police will probably find it abandoned somewhere
I hope but Im feeling doubtful.
That sucks, don't ever leave a car running with the keys in it for your own convenience. Seen this happen so many times around here it's almost normal. It's gonna get found and be all fucked up.
I'm just going to buy another car on Tuesday.
I'll keep an eye open. My home is around the Fall River, Tiverton, Westport area.
A neighbor of mine just had their 2018 4Runner stolen in Pawtucket last week. Somehow the thieves were able to boost it with no keys. Sucks man, sorry to hear

Which neighborhood? My neighbor also had their car stolen 2 weeks ago. Ask your neighbors if they have a ring camera they can check for you.
