Any recommendations out there for quality golf lessons? I can't hit my irons for the life of me and was hoping to book a few sessions to establish a better foundation.

I go to Drew Anderson in North Kingstown, he has been voted best teacher in RI multiple times and his studio is great. I have shaved 9 strokes off my handicap and if I had more time to practice, it would be even more. He does an amazing job at breaking down your issues and working through drills you can do at home on top of the things you work on with him. Best part is he then sends a video after every lesson to go over your results and summarize what you work on. You can find him on instagram or google results driven golf.

Honestly if you go to newport and talk to bartenders a lot of them play golf. Some guy set up a bartenders open where most of the bars will make groups of 4 to come in and do a scramble tournament with lots of drinking. You'd have to make friends with them first but it's like 20 bars that are part of this and I'm sure they'd take you out on other days if you befriend them and teach you.

I appreciate the advice. I'm looking for instruction from a certified pro though; I golf about 20 times a year and consistently hit around 100-105. Just trying to knock a few strokes off my game.
