Was about to recommend this. Had a very small wedding- me, my partner, our moms, and an officiant - on the rocks in front of the lighthouse. It was the perfect location.

Came here to say this. The rocks at Point Judith would be a great spot too.

Roger Williams park has lots of beautiful little spots! Prospect Terrace is beautiful as well, especially during a sunset.

Colt State Park in Bristol has several picturesque spots and a few gazebos as well in case of rain.

If you’re planning in April, Newport has a bunch of areas covered in daffodils that make for some really beautiful pictures. There’s Dunlap Wheeler park next to first beach that ends up as a beautiful daffodil-covered park that would be really pretty.

Rocky point park has the big hill overlooking the water, or two beach areas.

The topiary garden in Newport is really pretty too but costs some admission to get in. Lovely gardens/grounds though.

Winterhawk vineyard in Kingston is tucked way back in the woods and is rustic and pretty. I went on a wine tasting there and the guy who runs it was so incredibly, earnestly nice and accommodating I’m betting he’d work with whatever budget you have to make an elopement special.

A little unconventional/out of the box but for the ceremony, the pier/gazebos at Gorton Pond in Warwick would be pretty I think. It’s really picturesque. You’d want to go somewhere separate for a reception. Depending on your party size and budget, Vanda is just down the road from there and the food is delicious.

Are you planning on any guests or just the two of you?

You may have to have a witness. I had a friend do something similar and they needed to have two witnesses sign the license.

Also, they did it at Brenton Point down in Newport. No cost, we were in and out in like 20 minutes. There was six of us, including the JP.

I got married at the Temple of Music at Roger Williams park. Someone asked how I got the permit, lol. I didn’t. It was just 10 of us and it took less than 20 mins. The pictures are amazing.

I happily married 20 years ago at the park next to the PT Judith lighthouse! Beautiful, and great memories every time we visit!
