I went to Dr Amy a long time ago. Sadly she doesn't accept my insurance now but I also recommend.

I can vouch for her as well. I lost one of my last contact lenses while at work one day. Went to her to make an appointment for new ones even though I wasn't a patient, and she gave me a set for free to last me til the next time I could see her. I even offered to pay for the pair, and she refused to accept it. Super friendly, and reasonably priced as well

Koch prescribed my son a medication with the only one thing he is allergic to, in the ingredients.

Dr. Newell in Johnston. Hands down the best eye doctor I have ever experienced.

Thank you and jeez that’s terrible that’s why he kept asking me if I was allergic to anything I guess

Dr. Belluci in Johnston is one of my favorite medical people, period. Just a really kind, gentle fellow. I’ve been going to him for a few years now. (My husband had a chalazion taken care of there, too but by a different doctor).

You should see an ophthalmologist instead. Theres Dr Callenda in warwick.

He has a brother if you also need a urologist

Koch sucks. For a stye try a bruder(sp?) eye patch. Like a beanbag filled w some magic beans or something. Amazon etc has them, follow directions, Put it in the microwave. hold to eye. Works very well. Also wash really well w Johnson baby soap a couple times a day. Source: my daughter got styes pretty bad and the above tips helped quite a bit.

I would check out Dr. Lam Dao and Associates. I've been seeing Dr. Dao for years He's really dwon to earth and sits there and explains to you what's happening with your eye's. He also does emergency calls. I had gotten some metal burrs in my eye and my eye was getting really inflamed. I called him after hours and he met me at the office and got the metal out saving me an expensive trip to the ER.

Boston vision in milford ma is literally the best. May be a hike but worth it if you can’t find anything else. Also keep doing hot compresses and lid scrubs to help alleviate symptoms!

Use a nice, warm (almost hot) tea bag as a compress until you can get treatment.

I went to Advanced Eye Care on N. Main Street years ago when I had a stye that wouldn’t go away (I get them every so often and this was one of the longer lasting cases). Usually they would pop and go away on their own, but this was aggressive and painful. They saw me the same day and referred me to RI Eye Institute on E. Manning street on the east side. Just days later, it was painfully removed. I dropped my original optometrist office and have been going to AEC since.

If it's been there for months, it probably does need excision (by an ophthalmologist who does that procedure). Were you initially sent to Koch by your primary eye care provider? If so, give that provider a ring and see if they can do themselves (if they're OMD) or if they can refer you another ophthalmologist to have the procedure done.

He wants me to wait and keep using ointment but it’s getting worse I called them td but he was not there

In that case, definitely time to seek care from another ophthalmologist if you don't want to continue with Koch.
