Hello fellow Rhodies!

My partner and I are 4 months out from our wedding and the person who runs our ceremony venue fell ill and is no longer able to accommodate our wedding. We are scrambling to find another solution. We live in Providence and our reception is in Warren at Bywater. We are not planning an elaborate day, and are wanting something very low key--more so a dinner party.

Our thought was maybe we could have a boat charter us from Providence to Warren and do a quick ceremony on board before we arrive. Our friend is marrying us so the logistics should be pretty simple. Our guest count is around 50. The date is July 29th 2023 and dinner starts around 5pm. We are happy to accommodate a different time if that helps.

Can anyone help us??

EDIT: I want to add that we are in our late 20's early 30's so we are responsible adults.

Might be more boat than you need - I think they fit up to like 150 but;

At the very least they probably will have an idea of who else locally might be a better fit if they're too big/expensive for what you're looking for.

Thank you so much! It looks like they have a boat for 46 so this might be a great option!

I've been to a wedding on the Bay Queen and had a blast.

Actually the Bay Queen is unfortunately not operating anymore, I’m very happy to see it suggested though!
