The name is SO much better than it could have been. I mean, our state animal is the R.I. Red, so it coulda been the chickens or the cocks.🤷🏼‍♂️

I don't disagree with the name being a touch lame. But I think they didn't want to alienate any particular areas or groups.. it was the safe bet and it matched the branding "a team for all of rhode island"
