I threw you an upvote. I assume this is a legit question. A terrifying, but legit, question.

Yes thank you lol, it’s a new-age hobbyist thing :) I already own one but I had to get it sent over from NJ because no one seems to breed them from RI. $50 for overnight shipping for a better live guarantee thing. Obviously if it were locally I could save on that

Upvote from me! I'm also interested. It's preferable to have one that has been bred than wild caught but I have yet to find someone within state lines

Why do you want these? I am in Connecticut and these come in via the wood pile.

It’s a new-age hobbyist thing. More people are starting to see them as an unlikely pet instead of pests and I hopped on the trend

Alright…I need to be up in RI next week../I can see if I can capture a few and I can bring them to you if you’d like. We can meet up at a D&D or something…..I’ll be the weird guy with the spiders….

Dude that would be cool as shit 😂 Just make sure they aren’t pregnant or I’ll have about 50 extra for a few generations. If you’re serious abt this, dm me and we can continue this convo there

Lol- I’m not sure I’ll be able to tell if they are pregnant or not. Ok let me see if I can catch a few ….they are fast as anything but I got to figure out what I’m going to transport them in…etc. give me a few days and as soon as I get one I’ll DM you.

Got one today finally! I am heading to RI on Sunday…hopefully he survives in captivity that long. LMK if / where we can meet so I can hand him over. I’ll be in Warwick.

I’ve been wanting on too ! You can get them online but I’m so scared it’s not gonna be alive when it gets here.

I joined the subreddit r/jumpingspiders and they have a list of a few rebuttable breeders on a post. I got my first one from Arachne’s Realm of Spiders in PA. Arrived alive and healthy. Getting two more from Ophelia the monster.

I’d look up some reptile expo’s nearby. Of course they’ll likely be held in a neighboring state but if you’re passionate you’ll probably still go, I’m planning to. Or just look up and explore some reptile shops
