Hey guys, quick question… does anyone know if you still need an appointment to goto the DMV or can I just walk right in and wait in line like I used to?

I’m trying to transfer a registration and I’m not sure if I can just drop off the papers or not.

To be honest I don’t know why you would ever want to drop in. The appointments make it so you are in and out quick as heck.

Service is appointment only. They're made online at www.dmv.ri.gov Look for the blue reservation box on the home page.
