Labor is out of control for these projects. I gutted a 1k square foot unit 3 years ago for $22k with a contractor. I’m talking wall to wall gut and replacement including plumbing. I got an estimate a couple months for my basement to get it re-dry walled and it was $15k.

Shit if I could get 20k in labor for a 2 week project I’d probably move into the biz.
