When we were kids we used to jump off the Point rd bridge in Portsmouth all the time. You’ll prolly get arrested now tho.

When I was a kid I used to jump off of this bridge, and the Nanaquaket and Seapowet bridges in Tiverton. I think the police will run you out of there today, tough.

I was at Ft. Wetherill years ago when a guy jumped and the waves took him away when he tried to climb up. I know the guy who found his body and pulled him out. I know it's one of the most popular spots in RI to cliff jump, but find a better spot. Or just don't.

Ft. Wetherill is the highest. That’s in Jamestown. Newport has some fun ones. Dukes & 40 steps are on the cliff walk, 12 o’clock high is on the ocean drive, The causeway heading to goat island & Diving rock over by fort Adam’s.

Fort Wetherill has great cliff jumping. It’s technically not allowed but I’ve never had any problems there myself. I STRONGLY recommend going with somebody who has jumped there before. People have died doing it and it’s best to go with someone who knows the spots that are safe to jump at

There's a spot in Newport the locals call Doris Dukes...

I'll edit this comment with a pin drop on a map showing where it is...

Here is a video of the jump:
