Last night was a second time I was woken up by loud howling from a pack of some sort of canine variety. It honestly sounded like a GoT episode was happening outside my window. Are there wolves or coyotes in Southern NK?
Coyotes around here for sure and they get crazy loud at times.
there's definitely coyotes around, but that was me. on tuesdays, I howl at the moon in North Kingstown.
It's just what I do.

I grew up in South County and in the early 2010s saw some absolutely massive coyotes down there. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some wolf mixed into whatever groups are running around there.

No wolves anywhere outside of a few national parks out west in the USA. Coyotes, however, definitely.
Except in a drug dealer’s East Greenwich mansion.
They are a big presence on Jamestown.
Haha and if you think we're talking those measley slinking coyotes you've seen on Westerns -- Noo0O0ooo! These are big Eastern coyotes crossed at some point with wolves, and yes, fattened on outdoor cats
NK has lots of Coyotes. Usually hear them when mating season or they’ve gotten a kill.

There are coyotes in Providence, so yea, they are in NK. I don't believe there have been any verified sightings of wolves in the wild in southern New England in decades.
