Does anyone know any public allowed fire pits spots, but I’m up near providence. Any state parks would be great, I’ve heard that up can have fires Lincoln woods, but would I need a permit first? I cannot find much info elsewhere- any info is greatly appreciated!

Goddard state park and Lincoln woods have fire pits if you rent a picnic spot.

Goddard Park has picnic sites with pits. Need a permit. That is in Warwick.

I actually ended up calling Lincoln Woods and they said it was okay! But I guess It depends on the area of the state

Or anywhere chill enough to just have a fire- and if anyone knows what would happen if I got caught doing that? I’m assuming a fine, would rather just do it somewhere I am allowed! Lol thanks

I would say get a fire pit with a grill attachment. Have a hit dog near by in case some one comes by. Just gotta make sure they allow charcoal grills.
