Hello, I'll be visiting Lincoln soon and wondering what the best restaurants in town are. (Yes, I'm aware of Google, but I want to hear opinions from locals.)
Also, which ones to avoid?

Tratorio Ramano is pretty good, if you’re at Ballys Fred and Steve’s is also good

Trattoria Romana is your best bet. Also Tavolo and Blackies (it’s in Smithfield). Siena is also good, in Smithfield as well.

Venture into Central Falls and go to La Casona. It's Columbian and it's delicious.

Lincoln itself is fairly sleepy but if you're staying inside town lines, Oz Tacos & Tequilas is good, if a little wacky. Miller's Tavern is a good American pub with a good beer selection. Trattoria Romana is a good Italian place but it gets pretty busy at peak times. Enn is a Japanese place, but there are better places for Sushi that aren't in Lincoln.

I'm gonna have to try this place out, not to far from the bike path.

Seconded on Oz Tacos, went there recently and it was a fun visit. Recommend the Twister Margarita

Miller's is very close to the bike path but it can be a chore getting up the hill. The ride back down is the reward though

While I agree with the general idea in this thread of "the best restaurants in Lincoln are not in Lincoln," I will say that OZ Tacos & Tequila and Trattoria Romana are both quite good. OZ is the only restaurant in town that I would (and have) come from elsewhere to eat at.

Drive 15 minutes to Providence. There's some ok food for the people that live there but nothing you would want to go to while visiting

El Charro on mineral spring avenue. Technically on North providence but it’s a great Mexican place

Blackies (Pricey!) Tratorio Ramano is great, Asia grill is pretty good for Chinese food. If you want to drive a tad north but have a hidden gem, Johnnys Victory Diner is a great little hole to eat at. The pulled pork sandwich is good!
