I think this is correct but you'll have to walk for a ways off the beaten path to find this spot if it's where I think it is.

Yeah, certainly not a big hike, but for most folks who's only experience in Lincoln Woods is walking the paved loop, it involves a bit of exploring.

there's a somewhat hidden entrance path off of breakneck hill directly across from butterfly way (you can park on great road by the horses / duck pond) that brings you directly to this spot. love these trails.

It's here, in the old section of Lincoln Woods. One of my absolute favorite spots.

The main entrance for Lincoln Woods used to be on Breakneck Hill Rd. You can still see the stone walls flanking the end of the old road. That whole section of the park has a pleasantly post-apocalyptic feel to it, if that makes sense. It's far from the ring road and most people don't venture there except for rock climbers and mountain bikers.

I thought the same thing! Looks like one of the areas between the library and the playground.

Just to give her some more exposure, Weird Island did an episode on it. Never heard of it until I listened to this podcast.

I feel like I've seen something similar at Parker Woodland but I'm probably mistaken

That was my gut reaction, too. I was thinking it was near the farmhouse ruins, but I don't recall any steps there.

Fabulous hike for anyone looking for a place to go, though!

I looked at it again and I don't think there's a stone structure at OMF. But those stairs are very similar to my fuzzy memories.
