Awesome thank you that is very informative. I definitely want the action of being able to go too calls and help in different scenarios and situations. I don’t want to just be stuck on court duty.

I mean It is true that both a police officer or sheriff would both have there pros and cons.

The recruitment video makes it seem that the deputy sheriff works within the system itself such as the (court, correctional facilities, “fugitives”warrants etc) but then also made it seem like you do go out and make arrest help in different jurisdictions, and act as a law enforcement officer like you were a police officer in the public so thank you for the information

Nah, I've never needed a cop or been in a situation where they helped in any way. I'll handle my own shit and not rely on a bunch of poorly trained, trigger-happy authoritarians.
