I’m from Tiverton and would definitely suggest looking there. It’s a small town maybe 30 minutes or less from Newport. I grew up with lots of friends who had horses too. South Tiverton is the part of town with plenty of acreage for horses! It’s a quiet town, nothing huge really happens there. I wouldn’t call it quirky or artsy though!
