We live in an era where republican politicians are running in Blue states when they’re not from there.

The ad isn’t to say transplants to the state can’t be in office. It’s pointing out she quite literally does not have residency in the state. How can she have the best interest of the inhabitants of Rhode Island when she herself isn’t one? She has close to no established history with this place. THAT is an outsider. Not someone who moved here 5+ years ago and really wants to help better their new home.
