You can message the mods and get a definite ruling before you post, but my understanding is that posts can't directly be ads or selling, like, "I'm selling my mountain bike, $500 firm". But I think it's fine to post about in-person events where there will be things for sale like announcing farmers markets and fairs and stuff.

Especially if you're looking for participants for the craft fair, that seems totally fine to me. But I'm also not a mod, so, my word means nothing.

It hasn’t stopped posts about “the underground” music scene shows. I post about shows occasionally here and it hasn’t seemed to upset too much.
