I think that anyone assuming GoLocal's wording wasn't very deliberate and hoping to create that confusion is giving Josh Fenton far too much credit as a person.

It's pretty rare that they're even worth the click.

If I'm curious about the headline, I'd rather google it and find any other media outlet in the state. More often than not, any legit story will be covered by a legit outlet.

The ones that aren't covered by other outlets likely weren't worth your time. The lawsuit in this story is newsworthy, as are the charges. Filing requesting a delay in a court date? Not really worth it. That shit happens in all sorts of cases and this isn't a murder trial.

NRG probably told GoLocal to fuck off when they were solicited to advertise or something and now any remotely negative headline that can walk this line will be run.
