I’m a chef at a independently owned local restaurant group. Four in the state. I’ve had servers come from there to work for us. It’s just nothing special, just overpriced crap slapped on a plate. (I’ve also eaten there) just wasn’t impressed at all. Just the same generic stuff you get most places. Also strange I saw this because I was chatting with regulars at the bar tonight after service and they told me they were there tonight (thanksgiving) and it was PROCEEDED Turkey they got served. I also heard from a few people the owner is a major dick and a cheapskate. As far as hosting goes I don’t have that experience, but you’ll be stressed to hell on busy nights while the servers bring home wads of money and you get hourly. Maybe they tip you out but not sure how they do it there.
