Does anybody somewhere that’s hiring for a part time night position ? Can’t work in a restaurant due to my very specific food allergies, I’ve checked on indeed but they’re mostly jobs that start at 4-5pm but I work a 9-5 during the day, I’m not picky and have a car to get around in but not really having luck or maybe not even being specific enough on indeed, wouldn’t mind something where I have to be physically active, just a 21 year old that’s looking to make extra cash since my main income mostly goes straight to my car note and rent. I have a lot of free time as well so I wouldn’t even mind weekends or if it was everyday M-F after work. Thank guys

Gig? (Shoveling, uber, Instacart, etc.?)

Side hussle? (More flexible.)

Or, do you want to be with coworkers to make friends?

How far away are you willing to travel? I work in the parking industry, and many locations in and around Boston are hiring.

Human Services agencies are always hiring for all shifts. They are typically group home for adults with a variety of disabilities. No experience is needed, you’ll be trained on site. Most of them offer 11p-7a overnight shifts. Unique experience if you ask me, can be rewarding in the emotional sense because you’re helping the less fortunate, but they pay is not great.

First thing that comes to mind is whether there's an Amazon/FedEx/UPS sorting/shipping location around. I don't know if there is, but those are generally 24x7 operations.

Night audit at a hotel? Those are usually 11pm-7am shifts tho. Might be a bit too much having to turn around and go in at 9am.

UPS. Peak season is coming up and they will hire everyone who applies. Believe you have to pass a piss test. Job sucks but it’s union and the health benefits are great. They have a 6pm-10pm shift and a 11pm-3am shift. Job is physically demanding and boring.

Security guard work sucks but there are a lot of 2nd/3rd shift hours. I can recommend a few companies if you want to PM me

You could do Uber or Lyft. You make your own hours. If you like pets dog walking/check ins would be good for some people who work late or overnight. Then you make your hours

Partially yes, the parking industry would describe any facilitation of parked vehicles.

For example I manage a parking garage. But the company I work for operates parking lots, valet services, parking enforcement (both private and public), shuttles, and more.

It’s not glamorous, but it’s honest work.

Look into night auditor jobs in hotels. It’s pretty chill if you’re at a nice place but have heard some horror stories from some of the seedier places. Good luck!
