Wait till after the new year, those toll gantries across the State will be up and running again… tolling every vehicle small and large. You think your getting screwed now, just wait.

Well, the State was successfully sued and the judge ordered the State to stop charging truck tolls. They knew this was coming and will likely appeal. The State will loose the appeal and go back to plan B, toll everyone.

I got some bad news for you, the Gina Raimondo Rhode Works infrastructure plan was bonded, the work has been done however it is not paid for. Trust me, they will get our money one way or another.

Nope. It was never in and won’t be in the plans to toll passenger cars.

Well, they won’t be tolling trucks… so they will need to find another way to tax us. Unless the State defaults on the bonds.

I’m pretty sure that’s exactly how it works, State goes out to bond, fixes infrastructure and collects taxes to repay the bond. That money will come from our pockets.
