Republican controlled states have higher rates of poverty & maternal death. Republican economic policies often mathematically make no sense and are literally impossible to implement. Republican controlled states also have worse health care outcomes and shorter lifespans for their residents.
Empirically it is worse to live under Republican control. Their policies are bad, unpopular, and really only benefit the rich and those in power they’ve leveraged this power to stay in power for decades longer than they should have be it be via gerrymandering, voter suppression, or propaganda outlets. Fox News was literally developed to be a propaganda box with the intention of painting republicans in a good light.
They know their policies are unpopular which is why they rely so heavily on the electoral college (nationally) and gerrymandering (within states) because if it were up to the people of this nation to choose who they wanted to represent them republicans would lose every time. They’ve lost every popular vote since GHWB in 1988 nearly 35 years ago.

Fwiw, I think this is more strategic about just amplifying the case why Trump shouldn’t hold office than a serious and earnest attempt to block his campaign. The ratings? Bro, do you live in the 80’s? No one watches the networks anymore. They stream and there were millions of views on YouTube alone.

Like when 45 said to the Secret Service when he was TOLD they had weapons at the Jan 6th rally " Take down the magnetometers, they are not here to hurt ME" ?

In the real world and the legal world, that is what we refer to as hearsay and holds no actual weight.
In the mind of a rabid anti trump type, that is an admission of some kind of guilt apparently.

There is zero evidence.

Oh that explains all those people shot and stabbed. That's what Trump did that for. I forgot.

It shows that 45 SENT an armed mob to the Capitol, while he went back to the WH and watched the riot unfold on TV for hours while being begged by his staff to call it off. People died, his VP fled for his life.
abovaveragefox t1_iwo87t6 wrote
Ok. Show me the evidence that he called for it. I would say there's more evidence that security was intentionally understaffed for the event then there is for trump sending them to cause violence.
mkmck t1_iwvxogu wrote
Yeah right...wtf do the capital police who testified about being attacked by Trump's mob know, right?
abovaveragefox t1_iww53l6 wrote
Which capitol police officer testified that trump called for people to attack the capitol and overthrow the government? I didn't get that testimony.

The best outcome would be for him to lose the Republican primary and run as an independent so he can split the vote and guarantee we don’t see more Republicans in power for a little while.
Any loss for them is a win for America
