I will never understand the love this guy gets. He basically gutted Providence only to be outdone by his successor. He has zero political chops and is as corrupt as Cianci without any of the benefits or like-ability.

No, he didn’t. I worked for the city around the time he became mayor. He inherited a giant steaming mess.
