No they wouldn't. Because RI's Asian food is bad. It got better since my first year there for sure when there was only a few sushi places in the entire state. But it is by no means diverse or very good. I've lived in 8 states. RI being the second longest of those. And while not the worst, def not good either. It's got great Italian food and seafood, best I've had. But everything else is a big nope.

Not what I was saying at all. Was just illustrating how little there was.

Little???????

Rhode Island is overflowing with fantastic Korean spots, that are off the beaten path and are super authentic. Same thing goes for Cambodian food too — Cranston is also the only place I’ve found legit pork buns like the ones they day in NYC Chinatown.

Take a seat sir and or madam, please.

Curious, what Korean spots are good besides den den? I’d also like to know what Cambodian places are good, because I haven’t had a good amok since being in Cambodia.

My time has come.

Ahem.

For quick "americanized" korean food -- head to Ichiban in Cranston. I know, Japanese name but Korean and Japanese food with decent sushi too. You'll the staples -- the Jjigaes, the bulgogi, the Japchae, along with various Katsus as well. Family run, big staple in the community. On the way check out Mirae market for your Korean cooking staples.

If you don't want to head to Cranston -- hit up Sura in Providence. Same thing, but a little more "upscale" feel. Comes with the price tag too.

Want real korean bbq -- like grills, soju and Somaek towers? Sura in Johnston. it's also AYCE. Want more of a modern party atmosphere -- try Lecker if it's still open.

Want Korean fried chicken? BBQ Chicken on Thayer is the spot.

Want pojangmacha food? aka Tteukboki, Omurice, Katsu of all sorts? Wok & Pot in Providence.

As for Cambodian -- any of the Apsara's in providence and 4 Seasons Restaurants.

And lastly for Thai / Cambodian -- I LOVE Red Rice in Warwick, that place is legit -- has a nice atmosphere, delicious food, and the kids working the register while doing homework, as all legit delicious restaurants are.
