Wakefield/peacedale. More of a village vibe tho. The center of the village is walkable bikeable to groceries and beer store plus other shops/restaurants.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll definitely check it out. I’ve heard so many lovely things about the Wakefield area. I appreciate your input.

Check out wickford too. A bit older / wealthier crowd and a bit small but it’s another fav of mine

I wouldn’t live in Wakefield or Peacedale without a car tho. The center of the village maybe but most people are spread out from there. And ripta isn’t completely thorough.

I'd prob say that about most of RI... transit options are limited. For wakefield it depends on OP's situation... if someone had a family w kids etc you'd prob want a car. From op's post history looks like a Cali transplant and college aged. Wakefield would probably be manageable more so than the rest of south Kingstown

Bristol is nice, it has a college town vibe

A bit conservative actually. I wouldn’t say college vibe at all. Warren is “cooler” than Bristol.

Where are you walking in Jamestown other than a 2 block radius?

I like Westerly a lot. You could definitely get by there near to downtown or even on the CT side with just a bike.

Yes Watch Hill is nice, but it’s pretty small and wouldn’t count as Urban at all. Also this time of year it’s dead and the shops are closed and no one is around.
