You need to write the bar association. Your lawyer is a deadbeat, it’s not uncommon in Rhode Island. Fire him and request a complete refund, being he refuses to go to trial. Hire another lawyer who will do the work. Saul Goodman for example.

I have been told that RI is so corrupt, good luck! If this was a Mass case, than maybe I would have a chance. All RI is corrupt, unfortunately 😕
