Tried 2x to get in and had someone in the union vouch for me. Must have not known the right people. Probably didn’t help that I had an associate degree that cut my apprenticeship shorter than someone off the street.

I ended up getting a job at National Grid so I still am doing something adjacent to my schooling and it’s a union job
